Our daily schedule provides for both active and quiet participation. Your child’s typical day at Mt. Moriah would be:

6:30 a.m. Open. Choice among centers: blocks, art, books, puzzles, dramatic play, manipulatives, sensory table, muscle room time.

8:30 a.m. School-age children leave for school.

8:45 a.m. Breakfast snack served in cafeteria.

9:15 a.m. Preschool classes begin: age-appropriate activities within the classroom, circle time, dramatic play, blocks, play-doh, easel painting, creative art, writing, music, science, sign language, math, small and large group activities.

11:00 a.m.  Stretch-N-Grow in cafeteria (Wednesdays).

11:15 a.m. Outside time: bikes, playground. Muscle Room inside on rainy days.

11:45 a.m. Closing circle time; story time. Some preschool children leave for home.

12:00 p.m. Lunch in the cafeteria.

12:45 p.m. Brush teeth, books, quiet play.

1:00 p.m. Quiet time; nap or quiet activities.

3:00 p.m. Snack; School-age children begin to arrive.

3:15 p.m. Free choice with classroom centers.

4:00 p.m. Outside on playground; inside Muscle room. Parents arrive for pickup.

6:00 p.m. Close.
